Skywater is a breathtaking contemporary home perched atop a mountain on Salt Spring Island, offering expansive views of the ocean. This is the second project we’ve had the privilege of working on at this property, following the success of the "Cabin" — a smaller, yet equally stunning, retreat built on the same site. For Skywater, we utilized Reynaers' Masterline 8 for the windows, MasterPatio for the sliding doors, and CW 50 for an impressive 80-foot-long skylight. The sleek, modern frames of the Masterline 8 system effectively "picture-frame" the majestic ocean vistas, creating a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living. The architectural design focuses on maximizing natural light and unobstructed views, turning the home into a true sanctuary.
